• Design and develop ads for approximately 20 accounts on a monthly basis. Responsibilities include copy writing, art direction, and prepress production. Collaborate with production artist, publisher, sales rep, and client.
• Create marketing material for small to medium sized businesses, including postcards, flyers, event banners, and brochures.
• Design and develop identity packages and web sites.

• Design and develop front page news and feature stories on daily deadlines. Collaborate with editors, reporters, photographers and other designers.

• Design and develop feature story and magazine cover concepts. Co-responsible for design of two departments. Collaborate with editors, reporters, photographers and other designers.
• Coordinated a special shopping guide. Collected products, oversaw photo shoot, and created a unique style guide for the section.
• Published a weekly blog that focused on design trends and critqued my recent work.
• Assisted in development and design of a magazine prototype for Meredith Publishing.
• Developed and executed prototype logos and publication exteriors for another local publication and a tourism department.
• Reviewed, discussed, and judged entries for the City and Regional Magazine Association's features design competition.
